Walnut Cake

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius. Grease a 20cm round cake tin.
  2. Sift together the flour and baking powder.
  3. Stir in the sugar and walnuts.
  4. Mix together the milk and oil and pour in very slowly, stirring continuously until totally incorporated.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice.
  6. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until the top is firm but springy.
  7. Leave to cool completely in the tin.
