Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:

200g self-raising flour

1 heaped teaspoon baking powder

30g cocoa powder
-
100g soft brown sugar

115ml water
-
85ml sunflower oil
-
25g vegan chocolate, chopped into very small pieces
Icing:

75g margarine
-
175g icing sugar
-
30g cocoa powder
Method:

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees celsius and grease a 20cm round cake tin.

Sieve the flour, baking poweder and cocoa into a bowl and stir. Add the sugar and stir.

Mix the water and oil together and add very slowly to the mixture, stirring
continuously.

Add the broken chocolate pieces and stir the mixture well.

Pour into the prepared cake tin and bake in the oven for 40 minutes until firm
but springy to the touch.

Leave in the tin to cool completely.
To ice:

Put the margarine in a bowl and beat until smooth and creamy.

Mix the icing sugar and cocoa together and then sieve into the margarine. Beat
until smooth.

Remove the cake from the tin and cover the top and sides with icing.
